This documentary plots the unique journey from Shatila Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut through the splendours of such UK concert halls as Sage Gateshead for a group of Palestinian young people performing a play specially written for them on the camp by the English author, Peter Mortimer. The play was written during Mortimer’s two months residence on the camp in 2008 and led to two UK tours. The documentary which takes us through rehearsals includes footage of life on the camp and also of the play’s performances in Theatre Monot, Beirut.
